1989年毕业于湖南师范大学数学系,获理学学士学位;1992年毕业于东北工学院自动控制理论与应用专业,获工学硕士学位;1999年东北大学控制理论与控制工程(系统工程方向)博士毕业,获工学博士学位;
国家级人才计划特聘教授,国务院学位委员会学科评议组成员(第六届),国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,国家自然科学基金委创新研究群体负责人,兼任教育部高等学校本科教学指导委员会委员(管理科学与工程类)、国家自然科学基金学科评审专家组成员、国家社会科学规划专家评审组成员;入选国家百千万人才工程并被授予“有突出贡献的中青年专家”称号、辽宁省高等学校攀登学者。现任东北财经大学管理科学与工程学院院长、学科带头人、东北财经大学学术委员会副主任;
1992年3月-2013年9月,在东北大学工作,历任科员、讲师、副教授(破格)、教授(破格)、博士生导师、二级教授;系统工程研究所所长、流程工业综合自动化教育部(国家)重点实验室副主任;2013年9月至今,任东北财经大学 管理科学与工程学院 院长、学科带头人
